The International Language Academy at Chiangmai is classified under the office of the Private Education Commission as a private, short-course, vocational school. The school has been located, since 1995, at 152/1-4 Srichandorn Road, T.Changklan, A.Muang Chiangmai. We are the proud recipients of the Royal Award in Education for the year 2000, and also the Ministry of Education’s ‘Educational Standards Quality Assurance Award’.
The school has developed a curriculum, in language and computer usage, for children from starter level upwards.
Nowadays, the school is very well known and has a good reputation. We have had over 2,000 students through our doors since we opened.
ILAC also represents a number of universities from Australia, Europe, North America and Asia. Many of our students receive good preparation in English before they go abroad to continue their studies. Each year the number of people using ILAC’s services increases, both because of our professional counseling and pre-departure service, and our continued support while they are studying overseas.
Another feature of ILAC is that the policy under which it is administered lays stress on the full development of each human being in terms of intelligent learning of Languages, intelligent use of technology to develop the community and country, and the developing of good moral ethics – all of which benefits the student now studying in the modern world of globalization.
